Whatever Happened To...?
They were a moderately popular classic rock band in the late '70s who inexplicably vanished when New Wave started getting attention. They resurfaced in the mid-'90s with this attempt at a more artsy sound, but failed to garner any real attention. This was their last album.
And I made them up just now.
Here's fun, courtesy of Jeff's Gameblog, which got it from somewhere else further up the chain, naturally:
01. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
02. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
03. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/ The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
04. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result as a comment in this post (or a link to it, if you can't post images here - I haven't figured that part out yet). Also, pass it along in your own journal because it's more amusing that way.
EDIT: Oops. I fixed the third link, so it actually goes where it's supposed to.

This is one of those time-wasters that's far too amusing; however, currently your third link (to the Flickr site) just sends you back to the quotation page again.
And since my graphics ability is sorely lacking, I suppose you'll just never see the sere, black and white cover for the early 80's New Wave band Airline Meal and their smash debut album Can Hold It Back.
Your loss, really.
Or the 60's favorite I Was a Teenage Werewolf and their folksy debut, The Answers Are Simple.
But what of Cruckton, and Forced to Change Fields, or Solidarity Union with His Education, Too Seriously?
Okay—must stop now.
Those are rockin'. Airline Meal was totally tubular. Every time I hear "People Worry Than Work", I can't get the tune out of my head for the rest of the day.
And as trendy and emo as Solidarity Union turned out to be, I do get a tear in my eye when I hear "Indispensable to Each Other" on the radio.
